![]() 1930s El Lissitzky poster for Pelikan office supplies |
Pelikan always offered branded pens for the low priced/student pen market, with little apparent damage to its reputation for quality (something for other firms to think about, no?). This Pelikan 120 in an economy polystyrene-like plastic, is a favorite with calligraphers. It cost me only about $40 a few years ago, but nevertheless has the styling cues and piston-fill of its bigger siblings. It also came packaged with two interchangeable gold-plated steel points, one conventional and one chisel-point for Italic writing. I also got a little wrench with which to remove the points (God knows where it went to). |
