Wahl Oxford

The Oxford was a companion line to Wahl's more expensive offerings, but Wahl did not stint on quality for these less-costly pens. For around half the price of a Doric, you could have gotten a pen like this one; while the point is pretty tiny, especially compared to the rather stout barrel, it is nevertheless authentic solid 14k gold. The pen is made from an attractive green pearl Pyralin (Wahl's preferred trade name for celluloid), and only if you look at the rather plain finish on the ends, or the clip secured by tabs (rather than being fitted inside the cap) can you see where Wahl saved very much on manufacturing costs.
