- The site map is now automatically generated and lists all of the pages on the site accurately and in alphabetical order by subject.
- Just for Pelikan fans: new pages posted on the Pelikan 400/M400 and the Pelikan M620 Cities series.
- Many new images and updated pages throughout the site.

- The search function is up and running; it will permit you to do a detailed search of the text of the many pages on this site. If you're curious, I whipped up this indexed search program myself using Perl and CGI (since I could not find any off-the-shelf products that could run without root access and would offer adequate features and performance). This rather simple search can't deal well with misspellings (either yours or mine). I have retained the private Google search, although it searches my entire domain, and may not be a deep search (because Google may not yet have completely indexed this site).
- I have posted an report about my October tour of the Sheaffer pen factory in Fort Madison, Iowa. The article was based on my article for the spring-summer issue of The PENnant, but includes embedded links as well as color images.
